Peter E. Smith Associates, an Actuarial, Benefits, and Consulting firm (ABC),
was founded in 1978 and operates from the scenic Berkshire Hills of
Massachusetts, with additional offices in Longmeadow, Massachusetts,
Hollywood, Florida, and Gloversville, New York.
Peter E. Smith Associates consists of four operating companies, two of
which are insurance agencies: The Peter E. Smith Insurance Agency, Inc.
which provides Estate Planning and insurance services, and the Taconic
Insurance Agency, Inc. which handles Group Life, Health, and Disability
Insurance. Two of the other companies are fee-based administrators:
Taconic Administrators, Inc. which handles Flexible Spending Accounts, and
acts as a Third-Party Administrator for self-insured health plans, and
Berkshire Qualified Plans, Inc. which administers pension plans, profit-sharing
plans, 401(k) plans, and provides actuarial services. Peter E. Smith
Associates is a registered branch office of SunAmerica Securities, Inc., a
registered full-service broker/dealer. This division provides brokerage
services for individual investors, having trading authority on all major
exchanges, and also provides long-term strategies for retirement,
tax-deferred investments*, packaged annuities*, mutual funds*, and
individual money management.
